Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs all essential functions of a Respiratory Care Practitioner

?Completes and distributes all patient documentation. Ensures compliance. Proficient with all documentation systems.

?Provides patient and family members with information throughout the course of care.

?Communicates effectively with all health care professionals. Collaborates with Medical Director.

?Responsible for day to day operations and execution of results by overseeing provision of appropriate care, flexible staffing plans, regulatory compliance, policy enforcement, immediate problem solving, maintenance requests, and supply ordering. Has payroll responsibilities.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT)
  • Minimum 5 years total work experience as a clinician
  • Virginia Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • Maintain NBRC credentials for Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Current NRP, PALS, ACLS certification
  • Associate Degree
