As a Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN on our team, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of our extended family residing on our dementia unit. You will be able to work on a dementia-certified, state of the art unit which creates a highly therapeutic and home like environment.

Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Active, unencumbered New Jersey LPN license
  • Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia or behavioral health conditions, and a willingness to work with the elderly population is essential for this role
  • Administer medications and perform necessary treatments, as assigned per physician's orders, in accordance with resident's care plan and within scope of practice.
  • Accurately report and record residents' condition and care including signs and symptoms which can be indicative of a clinical change in condition.
  • Dementia Care Practitioner certification (training will be provided upon hire)
  • Providing specific dementia care with emphasis on supporting quality care, safety, and management of behaviors in collaboration with care team
  • Perform all duties that are restorative, supportive and preventative measures are met in accordance with applicable state laws and regulations.
