Description

Provides direct nursing services related to infusion therapy for patients in the hospital, home, clinic, or alternate living site. Primary focus of this position will be to provide education to patients discharging from area hospitals. Secondary responsibilities will be to provide infusion nursing care in the home or clinic. Ongoing care is accomplished through collaboration and coordination with various providers, the patient and/or caregiver, the physician and the payor. These services are provided in the states of Oregon and/or southwest Washington.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire. OR
  • Washington Registered Nurse License (Vendor Managed) OR
  • National Registered Nurse Compact License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • Unencumbered Registered Nurse License in state(s) of hire, and wherever care is delivered. If RN holds a multi-state license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of licensure in the new state(s) of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year - Experience with acute hospital care, infusion, or home health.

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
