Shift: Days, 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week

Requirements:

  • MO License

  • Special Requirements: Need applicant to be certified to administer auto stem cell infusions and administer chemotherapy.

  • Chemo (ONS/ONCC)

Cancer diagnoses: Multiple Myeloma, B-cell Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, Follicular lymphoma, CRS management, Standard/side effect management diagnoses: Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea, fatigue, failure to thrive, upper respiratory infection, sepsis. EKG machine, Water bath to thaw frozen stem cells, Baxter IV pumps. Treatments we provide: Car T-cell therapy(Chimeric antigen receptor therapy), Autologous Transplants, Bi-specific (BiTE therapy) administration, Electrolyte replacement, Blood product repletion, IV fluid administration, Lab draws, Central line care, CRS evaluation and treatment, Tocilizumab administration, Antibiotic administration, Patient and family educationOutpatient cellular therapy unit opened in September 2024. Increasing patient volume monthly with more therapies. Current volume is 2-3 patients daily, will continue to increase to up to 8 patients daily by July 2025. 3 nurses, 1 pct, 2 management part of team. Nurse practitioner specific for this unit and is present on unit for duration of patient stay. Attending doctor assesses patient daily and is available entire length of patient visit. Department open hours are Monday-Friday, 0800-1630. Requirements are five 8 hour shifts, total 40 hours/week. Unit is closed on nights, weekends, and hospital-recognized holidays. Onsite, 24/7 cancer care clinic supports our Outpatient Cellular therapy space as well, for any after-hours needs.
