The Maintenance Mechanic will be reporting to the Maintenance Mechanic Team Lead. You will work onsite at our CSL Seqirus in Holly Springs, NC location. This role can be from 7am-4pm OR 1pm-9pm (pending what fits your schedule). Responsibilities

  • Work with Quality, Engineering and Operations groups to always ensure strict compliance with GMP guidelines, specifically to ensure that the equipment is maintained to meet GMP compliance.
  • Maintain and perform corrective/preventative maintenance on HVAC and Refrigeration systems, and site utility equipment in GLP, GMP, and non-GMP environment to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Provide recommendations and help ensure appropriate spare parts are setup in CMMS system. Provide input to preventive and predictive tasks ensuring equipment is maintained in a reliable state.
  • Support other departments/areas to troubleshoot, test, repair, and increase equipment performance.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement efforts within the site Maintenance/Reliability Program.
  • Monitor BAS alarms and respond throughout the facility.
  • Support start-up, commissioning and turnover of new systems throughout the site.
  • Use tools and software (CMMS, BAS, PAS, PI Process Books, PLCs, LIMS, SAP) required to resolve equipment and process issues within all technical competencies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training; Associate's degree in Engineering, Physical or Biological Science preferred
  • 5 years' relevant experience
  • Experience with Refrigeration Chambers
  • Experience and knowledge of maintenance principles within a cGMP Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
