Currently, we are looking for a full time Scheduling Specialist for our E Ajo Way location in Tucson.



Schedule needed: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling referral appointment for Initial Evaluation and following visits, rescheduling, and canceling appointments as applicable, and sometimes quick verification of patient's demographical information. Sorting every inbound referral and eFax to appropriate subfolder within 24 hours to allow scheduling of every referral appointment within 24-48 hours. Working referral stages for the purpose of scheduling Initial Evaluations for new patients. Handling inbound call volume as well as placing outbound calls.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



\tAnalysis of incoming referrals to obtain all demographic data necessary to schedule an initial appointment.
\tUnderstanding of Insurance benefits and authorizations for obtaining prior to scheduling if required
\tCollaboration, Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Technical and Scheduling skills to assist patients with appointment time and date for Initial Evaluation and the 5 following visits.
\tThorough knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.
\tAbility to show and practice strong teamwork capabilities.
\tAbility to organize and prioritize various demands.
\tStrong presentation communication skills.
\tAction oriented and driven for results.
\tA self-starter and to work with minimal direction.

âââââEducation: minimum high school diploma, college a plus but not mandatory if meeting experience requirements

Experience: at least two years of relevant work experience and the skills necessary for the position



Language: Bi-lingual preferred





Physical Requirements and Working Conditions



Requires prolonged standing, sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
