Job Title: Environmental Monitoring Technician (Entry Level)
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Hours: 10am/12pm start time - 8 hours a day
Shifts: Day and Night shifts are available
Duration: 12+ Months contract with Temp to Perm Potential
What's the Job?
- Conduct environmental monitoring of the aseptic area during production fills or weekly monitoring.
- Perform water collection and testing of WFI, Clean Steam, and Deionized Water.
- Execute media fill qualification and release in support of the environmental monitoring program.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the microbiology laboratory area, including refrigerators and incubators.
- Handle hazardous wastes and attend mandatory annual hazardous waste training meetings.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma required; an Associate's degree or related certification in Microbiological Sciences is highly preferred.
- Experience with aseptic technique and/or working in aseptic environments.
- Ability to gown aseptically for Manufacturing and Aseptic Filling areas.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate production needs.
- Sufficient mobility to work in manufacturing processing areas.
