About our Pender Surgical Team:

With a focus on exceptional patient care in our 9-bed unit, we welcome experienced nurses or those with backgrounds in PACU, Critical Care, or Same Day Surgery. Operating Room experience is preferred. As a valued member of our dynamic and close-knit healthcare environment, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting patients throughout their surgical journey.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
  • One-year of acute nursing experience required.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
