Requirements:

  • SD License
  • 1.5 years general nursing experience (system requirement)
  • Must have experience with titration of all drips below – please ask manager approval prior to offer if traveler is not completely comfortable
  • Experience with Cardiac procedural recovery (CABG/TAVR/post Cardiac Cath), MI pharmacology, Heparin gtts
  • Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
  • Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV starts, Blood product administration, CIWA, drain/tube management, indwelling and straight catheter insertion/management, continuous bladder irrigation, chest tube maintenance
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • BSN required

  • Willing to float to MedSurg/Tele
  • This is a float pool position floating routinely between: ICU, Ortho/Neuro/Surgical, Medical, Progressive Care Unit, Oncology, and Heart and Vascular
  • Will you accept a first-time traveler? Only if previous float pool experience and 2+ years experience, otherwise travel experience required
  • Travelers must live >100 miles away from any Monument Health facility
