Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12x3) 36 hours per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • NC License
  • 2 years experience
  • Stepdown or progressive care experience
  • Telemetry experience
  • Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix; etc.
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin) preferred
  • Relief charge experience preferred
Other Details:
  • EMR - Cerner
  • Floating Area(s):All MedSurg units, Stepdown units, COVID unit, and ER holding
  • Number of Beds - 40
  • Patient Ratios –1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratio
  • Type of patients: patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, Pulmonary Hypertension; valvular disease, endocarditis; DKA; post cardiac cath/stent; post pacer/ICD/ ablation
  • Type of equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipments, bladder scanner;
Scrub Color/Attire - all white or all navy blue or white top and navy blue pants.
