Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking highly skilled and dedicated Mammography Radiologists to join our dynamic radiology group on a full-time locum tenens position in Chesapeake, VA

This physician-owned practice proudly operates within a 310-bed hospital in Chesapeake, VA. As a valued member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional radiology services and contributing to the high standard of patient care we uphold. Opportunity Specifics:
  • Position: Locum Tenens
  • Setting: Mammography Radiology
  • Hours: Monday – Friday (8am-4pm)
  • 3D tomo, US, US needle biopsy, needle loc
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and interpret all Mammo procedures
  • Ensure accurate and timely diagnosis through expert analysis of imaging results.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of radiology protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements and technologies in diagnostic radiology.
  • Supervise and mentor radiology staff as needed.
  • Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards in radiology practice.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in peer review processes.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Mammography Radiology.
  • Virginia State license
  • MQSA Certified
  • Proven experience in diagnostic radiology practice.
