Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

UW Health requires TWO TB SKIN TESTS (PPDs) for onboarding. BLOOD TESTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED 1st PPD must be uploaded NO later than one week prior to start date (and must be dated within 12 weeks prior to start date). 2nd PPD must be uploaded within 30 days from start date (please note- assignments may be terminated if traveler does not meet compliance within 30 days).

Do not submit travelers who have or will have expiring licenses and/or certifications during time frame of entire assignment. Traveler will automatically be declined.

Minimum one year cardiac experience required.

Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.

Registered in echocardiography (RCS or RDCS).

RVT

Education: Successful completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CHAAHEP) approved ultrasound program, Associate Degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or relevant health sciences field.

Floating: Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler’s competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.

Shift: 40 hours/week, Days, 8 hour variable shifts, Monday - Friday. Start time will vary from 7:00am - 9:00am. Saturday rotation. 26 week assignment.

Guaranteed Hours: 40
