Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekends & On call : Every other. Extra days off in contract please

Requirements:

  • NC license
  • Must have 2 years CVICU or CVRU experience
  • Must have prior CV critical care experience
  • Must have Critical Care training
  • Must have a love for surgical heart care
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Certification in Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery or Recovery Room care preferred
Other:
  • GE monitors and a Cerner EMR
  • Floating Area(s): All ICUS and Stepdown, where needed to other units also
  • A unit with highly trained CVICU/CVRU charges nurses who are free to assist you with any issues
  • 19 bed mixed unit CVICU/CVRU who runs with a 1:2 or 1:1 ratio depending on acuity.
