Responsible for preparing and configuring molds and machinery for the injection molding process. Install molds in presses, in accordance with scheduling Perform daily inspections of assigned equipment. Clean molds on a weekly basis. Keep all mold records updated and filed. Perform insert changes and training on same.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mold changes by removing existing mold and installing new ones.
  • Perform mold changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Install dies on machine according to work order specifications and production schedule.
  • Setting up ancillary equipment related to the molding process.
  • Locates, transports, installs, and stores injection molds according to established guidelines.
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain molds and tooling after each production run.
  • Perform routine machine on molds and machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mold setup, machine operation, and product quality.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in injection molding and mold set up.
  • Basic industrial maintenance experience
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Ability to be on feet, stoop, kneel, bend and climb.
