Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Burn Outreach Coordinator to work closely with the Burn Quality Coordinator ensuring quality care standards for all of Burn Services.

What you will do in this job:

  • You will assists with audits and collect data to ensure regulatory compliance and quality care standards for all of Burn Services.
  • You will maintain or oversee medical records, pharmacy audits, occurrence reports, restraint audits, volume reports, etc.
  • You will work closely with the Burn Quality Coordinator to compile data for the Burn Committee and Peer review.
  • You will assist in the preparation of documents for ABA Verification and follow-up on adverse event reports.
  • You will assume the accountability for developing, supporting, coordinating, and presenting burn education and prevention activities within the hospital and at the community level.
  • You will be confident in Burn Center public relations and public speaking.

What may be required for this job:

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical/critical care experienced
