Rhino Medical is leading the charge identifying the best Pennsylvania licensed Physician Assistants (PAs) available to provide full-time locum tenens coverage for one of the largest Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care clinic systems in the nation.

Opportunity Specifics:

  • Contract Type: Locum Tenens
  • Start Date: ASAP (minimal credentialing timeframe)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)
  • Clinical Setting: Outpatient Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Physical Therapy and Advanced Specialist Services

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose/Treat Work-Related Injuries
  • Perform Pre-Placement Exams/Physicals
  • DOT Examinations
  • Public safety & surveillance physical examinations for various private companies or government organizations
  • Evaluate & treat urgent care patients of all ages on a walk-in basis
  • Perform minor in-office procedures
  • Communication with employees/employers to provide exceptional medical guidance
  • Computerized charting

Candidate Requirements:

  • Current Pennsylvania State Physician Assistant License
  • Current/Unrestricted DEA
  • 2+ Years of Recent Urgent Care experience preferred
  • DOT Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to suture & read/interpret X-Rays
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • Ability to Commute to Reading, PA (preferred but not required)
