We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate RN to deliver exceptional patient care in our radiation oncology unit. In this role you will provide care for patients receiving various forms of radiation therapy following a cancer diagnosis. If you are looking for a supportive and teamwork oriented environment, apply today
· As a radiation oncology registered nurse you will provide care for patients receiving external beam radiation including stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and internal radiation sources including high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy, and low dose rate (LDR) brachytherapy.
· You will educate patients and family members on radiation treatments and side effects for a wide variety of cancers including gynecological, skin, prostate, breast, brain, and other cancers.
· Working closely with nurses, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, physicists, and radiation oncologists as well as a team of cancer experts and cancer resources from the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute, you will assess, plan, implement, evaluate and execute patient care plans related to radiation oncology care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
