*Qualifications:*

* Current Alabama RN License

* Experience in long-term care nursing

* Staff Development is a plus, but training is available for RNs with long-term care experience

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* Positive attitude toward the elderly

*Essential Job Functions*

* To direct in-service educational programs and new hire orientation following current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility, and as may be controlled by the Administrator.

* Ensure that the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

* Providing nursing staff with clinical and educational support and guidance

* Planning and implementing orientation and mentoring programs for all nursing employees

* Maintain the nurses' and CNA's schedules

* Monday through Friday with rotating call and work one weekend monthly
