The American College of Cardiology has recognized UF Health Leesburg Hospital for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain by awarding a Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primacy PCI and Resuscitation — its highest and best level of accreditation. The hospital also offers world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic surgery, life-saving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and so much more

There are 3 Cath Labs at UF Health's Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. The Director is a servant-leader with 30 years of UF Health Leesburg experience and is dedicated to the success of her team and the people of her community. This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated. The benefit about working here is that you will truly learn and acquire valuable experience, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. Our Cath Labs offer state-of-art technology and medical devices. Under the direction of the director/charge person, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care specific to Cardiac Cath Lab patients. Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Responsible for the nursing care of the pre and post Cardiac Cath Lab patient.

This position shift will be:

  • 7am-7pm =Three 12 hours shifts + On-Call 1 night a week and 1 weekend a month, approximately every 3rd or 4th (weekend=Fri night close of business until Mon 6 am)
  • Must report w/in 30 min.
  • Eligible for sign-on bonus
  • Medical Benefits begin day 1


Qualifications

Education:

- Associates Degree

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

- Florida Registered Nurse License

- BLS

-ACLS

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:

- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
