Job Description:

The Clinic Nurse-RN is a professional Registered Nurse responsible for facilitating the patient care flow in the clinic while providing direct patient care. This position will facilitate the workflow in the area by conducting nursing assessments and documentation and skilled nursing tasks. In addition, this staff member will contribute expertise in the areas of patient scheduling, telephone triage and advice and pharmacy needs. The Clinic Nurse will assist with maintaining compliance to professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements and will support physicians and the care team in delivering quality health care to patients taking into account the patients' individual physical or age-related needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree: Nursing
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • One year: Related experience in an ambulatory setting, preferably in a medical office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Nursing
  • One year: Experience working with geriatric population

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life. Our service lines include assisted living/skilled nursing/rehabilitation, home health, home infusion/pharmacy services, home medical equipment, hospice and palliative care, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), personal home services/private duty care and supportive housing.
