Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Tele Step-down 7W

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs/week. Weekend

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Requirement 2 Weekends per schedule

Holiday Requirement Work into the perm staff holiday schedule

Requirements:

  • WV license
  • 2 Years Experience
  • RN's must be able to read strips in conjunction with the telemetry monitor techs that continuously monitor strips
  • BLS

Other Details:

  • Charting System: Epic
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients Typical MedSurg population. Chest Pain, COPD, AMS, Pneumonia, UTI, Abdominal Pain, Overflow for most services, hospice (will 'flip' patients to GIP Hospice on 7 West)
  • # of beds 32 Total Beds (12 are Stepdown & 20 are 'Floor')
  • Ratios "1:3 for Stepdown
  • Covid Vaccine Required: Fully vaccinated means either 2 shots of Moderna or Pfizer or 1 shot of J&J; If a traveler wants to decline based on a Medical or Religious reason, please have them fill out the appropriate Exemption Form
  • Floating Requirement Can be pulled to any floor or stepdown unit
  • Must be outside 50 miles from the facility
