Elementary Resource Special Education Teacher – K–3 or Grades 4–6 | Phoenix, AZ
TactStaff Education is hiring Elementary Resource Special Education Teachers for immediate-start opportunities in Phoenix, Arizona We are seeking dedicated special education teachers to support elementary students through individualized instruction, inclusion support, and small-group resource services.
Multiple grade-level placements are available, allowing educators to find an opportunity that aligns with their experience and strengths.
Position Details
- Job Title: Elementary Resource Special Education Teacher
- Location: Phoenix, AZ, near 51st Avenue and Indian School Road
- Start Date: Immediate
- Grade Levels: K–3 or Grades 4–6
- Setting: Elementary resource, inclusion, and pull-out support
- Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week
- Employment Type: W-2 contract through TactStaff Education
- End Date: May 21, 2027
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction to elementary students with disabilities.
- Deliver resource services and inclusion support aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Support students in general education classrooms and provide pull-out instruction as needed.
- Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies to address diverse academic and developmental needs.
- Monitor student progress toward IEP goals, collect data, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school leadership.
- Support students' academic achievement, independence, social-emotional development, and classroom participation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate educational supports.
Qualifications
- Appropriate Arizona Special Education Teaching License.
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Experience in elementary special education, resource instruction, inclusion, or pull-out services preferred.
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
- Strong classroom management, instructional differentiation, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to student-centered instruction and positive educational outcomes.
