Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a Data Analytics Engineer who can bridge the gap between data engineering, analytics, product strategy, and customer needs.

You'll work with existing data products and help turn the underlying data into meaningful business insights, BI solutions, AI capabilities, and customer-facing products. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with product and business thinking, understands how to work with modern data platforms, and can identify opportunities to make data more useful and accessible to customers.

This role goes beyond building pipelines or maintaining data infrastructure. We're looking for someone who can understand the data, identify what can be done with it, and help translate those opportunities into practical solutions. You'll also have opportunities to contribute to documentation, customer education, and conversations that help customers understand and get value from the data products.

The ideal candidate:

• Has hands-on experience working with modern data platforms and analytics tools
• Has experience with Python, dbt, and Snowflake
• Understands BI strategy, reporting, and data modeling
• Can translate business and customer needs into data-driven solutions
• Identifies opportunities to turn existing data into new BI products, AI capabilities, and customer experiences
• Combines technical depth with strong product and business judgment
• Communicates effectively with engineers, product teams, business stakeholders, and customers
• Enjoys explaining technical concepts and helping customers understand data products
• Takes ownership of problems from discovery and analysis through solution delivery

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing data products and identify opportunities to create additional business value through analytics, reporting, and AI capabilities
• Develop and support BI strategies, dashboards, reports, and data-driven products that address business and customer needs
• Work with Python, dbt, Snowflake, and Astronomer to explore, transform, and prepare data for analytical and product use cases
• Translate customer and business requirements into clear technical specifications and actionable product opportunities
• Partner with engineering and product teams to define, prioritize, and deliver data and AI initiatives
• Identify opportunities to turn existing data assets into customer-facing features, analytics experiences, and AI-powered capabilities
• Evaluate potential AI use cases and help determine how data can support practical, valuable applications
• Document data models, reporting logic, analytical capabilities, and product functionality
• Help develop customer-facing documentation, educational materials, and training resources
• Participate in customer conversations to understand needs, explain data capabilities, and gather feedback when appropriate
• Support the ongoing improvement of data products by incorporating business requirements, customer feedback, and emerging opportunities

Some Must-Haves

• Professional experience in data analytics engineering, analytics, BI, or a related technical role
• Hands-on experience with Python, dbt, and Snowflake
• Experience developing BI solutions, reporting, dashboards, or analytical products
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and analytical workflows
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable solutions
• Product-minded approach to identifying opportunities and delivering business value from data
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, business, and customer-facing teams
