Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in an educational support role preferred
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to follow teacher direction and school protocols consistently
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special needs
- Assist with instructional activities under the supervision of certified teachers
- Help maintain a positive, organized classroom environment
- Provide support during classroom transitions, lunch, and recess as needed
- Model respectful and positive behavior
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers
