Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you'll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
AHA BLS certification required
Kansas state license or compact required
Education must be appropriate to licensure, including DPT for PT from a CAPTE-accredited program
Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience required
Outpatient and inpatient experience required, including inpatient evaluations and therapy

Assignment Details

40 hours per week
Schedule options include 5x8s or 4x10s
No weekends
No holiday rotation
No floating required
No on-call or call-back requirements
Setting includes inpatient and outpatient
EMR: Therapy Source, moving to ReDoc soon
20-bed critical access hospital

Location Highlights

Meade offers a quiet High Plains setting with access to Meade State Park and Meade Lake, both located about 8 miles from town. The area supports an outdoor lifestyle with boating, fishing, and camping at Meade State Park, while Dodge City is about 45 miles east for additional dining and entertainment. Residents and travelers can explore the Dalton Gang Hideout in Meade and reach the Cimarron National Grassland in roughly 90 miles for hiking and wide-open prairie views. Meade also provides a small-town work environment in southwest Kansas with regional highway access via U.S. Route 54 and nearby services in Liberal, about 40 miles west.
