Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions for pre-screened, low-acuity clients using secure telecommunication platforms.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client needs and goals.
• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to address comprehensive patient needs.
• Engage in regular case consultations to enhance treatment strategies and outcomes.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Travis Mental Health Clinic, you will primarily work with individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Our clientele is diverse, requiring a culturally sensitive approach to counseling that respects and understands varying backgrounds and experiences. As an LPC, you will empower clients to navigate their mental health journeys, equipping them with coping mechanisms and essential life skills.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or PsyD.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Suite and EHR systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that foster a trusting relationship with clients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations is preferred to better serve our client base.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
