CNC Router Operator
The CNC Router Operator will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating a CR Onsrud CNC Router using Mastercam software. This role requires experience machining a variety of materials including wood, aluminum, plastics, and foam. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate a CR Onsrud CNC Router
Utilize Mastercam software to create and modify toolpaths
Cut and machine materials including wood, aluminum, plastics, and foam
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Perform machine setup, tooling changes, and calibration
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
Maintain equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
Proven experience operating a CR Onsrud CNC Router
Strong working knowledge of Mastercam software
Experience cutting wood, aluminum, plastics, and foam
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
