Join Our Team as a Weekend CT Technologist Job Description: - Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in the world of diagnostic imaging? - As a Weekend CT Technologist, you'll work under the guidance of a skilled Radiologist, utilizing your expertise to perform a variety of procedures that require independent judgment and innovation. - Experience the thrill of: - Performing CT and X-Ray procedures with precision and care, ensuring adherence to protocols and age-specific needs. - Creating optimal diagnostic images for a diverse patient population, from Neonates to Geriatrics. - Operating advanced imaging technology efficiently in both diagnostic radiology and CT procedures. - Thrive in a dynamic environment where you will: - Complete quality imaging in a timely manner, prioritizing workflow to meet urgent demands without compromising patient care. - Interact compassionately with patients, gathering medical histories and explaining procedures to ensure comfort and clarity. - Review patient charts meticulously to capture essential clinical information and consent. - Screen for surgical implants, allergies, and obtain prior films/exams for comprehensive patient care. - Collaborate effectively as you: - Perform high-quality scans for Radiologist interpretation while monitoring patients' conditions throughout the process. - Coordinate scanning protocols with Radiologists, serving as a resource for clinical and technical inquiries from fellow Technologists. - Safely transfer and position patients, providing the necessary immobilization and protection in accordance with safety standards. - Create a welcoming atmosphere: - Maintain professionalism and empathy, building rapport with patients who may be experiencing stress. - Practice sterile techniques to uphold safety standards and prevent contamination. - Join a team that supports your growth: - We value detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals who thrive in collaborative environments. - While experience in Venipuncture and advanced modality licenses with ARRT are preferred, we cherish a problem-solving mindset - We are looking for: - Graduates from accredited Radiologic Technology schools. - Candidates who are ARRT certified or eligible upon hire. - Those with a commitment to Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon joining.
