Senior Technical Accountant

Technical Senior Accountant | Remote | $80K-$115K Base Salary + Bonus Vaco is partnering with a large, international healthcare organization seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong technical accounting background to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4 Senior looking to transition into industry while maintaining exposure to complex accounting matters or for someone with strong technical accounting experience in a publicly traded company.

Key Responsibilities
Support technical accounting matters including M&A and purchase accounting, revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, and consolidations. Assist with accounting for debt and equity transactions and SEC reporting requirements. Research and interpret complex US GAAP guidance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical accounting matters and strategic initiatives. Ideal Candidate: Targeting 3-5 years of experience Big 4 public accounting experience at the senior level Or technical accounting experience for a publicly traded company CPA or CPA progress required Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting principles.
