As Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for guiding day-to-day operations in a high-volume distribution center serving two iconic quick service restaurant brands. In This Role, You'll:Coordinates and monitors day-to-day operations, analyzing operations, taking corrective action, providing constructive feedback and monitoring cost and expenses, to achieve meat division and QCD productivity and quality objectives and to ensure compliance with QCD and regulatory agency regulations.
Supervises the daily activities of associates, providing instruction, training and performance feedback to ensure production efficiency and quality objectives are met or exceeded.
Identify and resolve process operational issues, facilitate equipment problems, maintain quality, productivity and safety utilizing available resourcesEnforce safety standards and quality procedures to ensure that department and QCD safety rules and quality specifications are adhered to.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and productivity by developing new ideas, process improvement, and planning for upcoming equipment or process changes.
Routinely informs and communicates with all department resources to promote smooth operations, enhance their understanding of QCD policies and objectives, and ensure compliance with established production policies and procedures.
What You'll Bring:3–6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including team supervisionBachelor's degree preferred, equivalent relevant warehouse, distribution or operations management experience accepted in lieu of a degreeLead a diverse workforce in a 24 hour/7 day per week operationSupervise and motivate associates in a team-based environmentInterpret warehouse operations anomalies and identify appropriate solutionsWork effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer serviceAct in accordance with GSF's Values and CreedThe Schedule & Setting:Full-time, on-site supervisory role in a temperature-controlled warehouseMust be open to AM or PM ShiftSupports a 24/7 operation with flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededLeads a large-scale warehouse team focused on safety, reliability, and servicePay &
