IDR is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity in New York, NY. This role involves supporting a financial services firm focused on multi-strategy asset management, specifically assisting with migrating their systems from a legacy environment to a modern cloud-native platform. The position offers a dynamic environment where innovative backend development and cloud expertise are essential for success.

Position Overview for the Senior Software Engineer:
Develop and enhance cloud-native distributed systems on AWS in a production environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and modernize platforms, including migration projects.
Contribute to creating scalable, high-performance services with a focus on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Engage in full lifecycle software development, from planning to deployment and maintenance.
Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements for the Senior Software Engineer:
~7+ years of experience developing products using C# / .
NET
~ Strong AWS experience, including serverless and performance-aware system design.
~ Experience with performance engineering and optimization
