About FluxTec
FluxTec was founded by two industry veterans who spent decades working alongside data center owners, operators, contractors, commissioning firms, and rental companies. After seeing firsthand the challenges facing next-generation liquid-cooled infrastructure, we built a better solution.
Today, FluxTec designs and manufactures innovative testing and commissioning solutions for the world's most advanced data centers. Our flagship product, the LLB 670, is an industry-leading liquid-cooled load bank engineered specifically for AI and high-performance computing environments.
Demand for AI infrastructure is reshaping the data center industry, and FluxTec is positioned at the center of that transformation. We have secured major customers, established significant manufacturing capacity, and are investing aggressively in the people and systems needed to support our next phase of growth.
This is an opportunity to join a company early in its growth journey, help shape the future of our commercial organization, and build lasting relationships across one of the fastest-growing industries in the world.
The Opportunity
FluxTec is expanding its national sales organization and seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to build and grow a defined geographic territory.
This is a hands-on hunter role for someone who enjoys creating opportunities, opening doors, and developing relationships from the ground up. You will identify high-potential customers and projects, build relationships with key decision makers, and lead complex technical sales opportunities from initial introduction through close.
Success will require an active presence in the market. You will regularly attend industry conferences, association meetings, customer events, and other opportunities to build meaningful relationships within the data center and mission-critical community. You will also work closely with FluxTec leadership, engineering, and marketing to introduce customers to our solutions and establish FluxTec as a trusted long-term partner.
This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing company at an important stage of its development, establish a valuable territory, and directly influence the growth of the business. The final territory may be adjusted around the successful candidate’s location, relationships, and demonstrated ability to cover key data center markets.
What You’ll Do
· Build and execute a territory-development strategy focused on data center owners, operators, contractors, commissioning firms, engineering organizations, and equipment rental companies.
· Proactively identify target accounts, projects, and the specific decision makers responsible for specifying, influencing, approving, purchasing, renting, or deploying FluxTec equipment.
· Generate new opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, industry networking, conferences, association events, and customer visits.
· Cultivate relationships over time and establish FluxTec as a trusted resource before, during, and after active projects.
· Lead the full sales process from initial prospecting and qualification through technical evaluation, proposal, negotiation, and close.
· Build a balanced pipeline that includes near-term opportunities and longer-term strategic accounts.
· Coordinate product demonstrations, lunch-and-learns, factory visits, and technical presentations.
· Represent FluxTec at major data center conferences, regional events, and relevant industry associations.
· Maintain accurate account, opportunity, pipeline, and forecast information in the company’s CRM.
· Collaborate with leadership, engineering, operations, and marketing to develop customer strategies and support successful deployments.
· Gather market and customer feedback that helps guide product development and future commercial strategy.
What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate will consistently create new opportunities rather than waiting for leads to arrive. You will become well known within your territory, build trusted relationships with the people responsible for equipment decisions, and develop a strong pipeline across both established customers and new accounts.
You will be comfortable walking into an industry event with a plan, identifying the people you need to meet, initiating conversations, following up afterward, and converti
