2nd Shift CNC OperatorA manufacturer specializing in metal fabrication, precision machining, and powder coating solutions for industrial markets. They are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a CNC Machine Operator:Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce precision metal componentsInterpret engineering blueprints and work orders to plan machining operationsPerform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and monitor coolant and lubrication levelsInspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and tight tolerancesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with Lean Manufacturing principlesAdhere to ISO standards, company policies, and facility safety regulationsYour skills and
experience:
Experience operating CNC mills or lathes in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instrumentsBasic knowledge of machine programming, tooling geometry, and cutting speeds/feedsStrong attention to detail and reliable attendanceAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsCollaborative team mindset with a commitment to workplace safetyFor immediate consideration for the CNC Machine Operator position, contact our Vermont ETS office.
