Project ManagerA well-established general contractor in Chicago is looking for a Project Manager to lead aviation construction projects. You'll own your projects from budgeting and bidding through closeout and be the go-to contact for clients and project teams in busy, active airport environments.
What You'll Do
Lead aviation and airport projects from preconstruction and bidding through closeoutBuild and manage project budgets, forecasts and cost controlBid, buy out and manage subcontractors and suppliersBuild strong client relationships and keep owners informed with clear updatesCoordinate schedules, submittals, RFIs and change orders with design teams and field staffKeep work safe, on schedule and on budget in secure, operating facilitiesWhat You Bring5+ years of construction project management experience with a general contractorAviation, airport or other complex, occupied-facility project experience strongly preferredStrong budgeting, cost control and subcontractor management skillsBachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experienceConfident, clear communicator who enjoys working directly with clientsWhat
