Now Hiring: Reliability & Systems Safety Engineer Position Type: Contract
Our client is seeking a Reliability & Systems Safety Engineer to support reliability and safety analyses across a diverse aerospace and defense product portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to work on critical programs while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Requirements Active Secret Security Clearance required
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain reliability and safety analyses, including FMECA, reliability predictions, subsystem hazard analyses, and range safety assessments.
Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments and Fault Tree Analyses.
Design and execute reliability test plans and analyze test results.
Identify and recommend improvements to product reliability and safety.
Ensure compliance with Reliability and System Safety processes and standards.
Collaborate with engineering and programs teams to integrate reliability principles throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years of Reliability and Systems Safety experience.
Strong technical communication skills.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of directly related experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a related field.
Aerospace or defense industry experience.
Knowledge of MIL-STD-882E.
Formal coursework in Reliability Engineering.
Experience with or knowledge of solid rocket motor systems.
