To support revenue cycle goals, the full-time Remote Coding Compliance Specialist will manage claim edits, denials, and rejections while ensuring accurate coding using various coding references and collaborating with departments to resolve compliance issues.
Key responsibilities
Work on claim edits, denials, and rejections to support timely and accurate billing
Collaborate with other departments to address coding and compliance issues affecting reimbursement
Utilize ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding systems to ensure accurate coding practices
Required qualifications
3-5 years of relevant experience in coding compliance
High School Diploma or GED
Certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, COC, CPC, CCA, CCC, CIRCC, or CCVTC
