- Deli, Woodlake MarketWork Mode: OnsiteLocation: Kohler, WIOpportunityThe Production Assistant II is responsible for preparing, packaging, serving, and merchandising premium, freshly made products while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll work in a fast-paced, upscale environment where quality, cleanliness, and product expertise are essential. This role requires attention to detail, food safety awareness, product knowledge, and a passion for helping customers make informed choices.
Specific ResponsibilitiesGreet guests warmly and assist with product selection, portion recommendations, cooking or reheating tips, and slicing preferencesProvide knowledgeable recommendations on products, pairings, and preparation methodsSlice, weigh, cut, trim, and package products to store standards and customer requests while using proper techniques and equipment.
Prepare fresh foods according to store recipes and standardsEnsure all items are properly labeledMaintain attractive and well-stocked cases that reflect the store's premium imageRotate products to ensure freshness, quality and minimize wasteMaintain department organization standards in back stock areas and front of houseFollow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling, storage, and cleaning proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work area and equipmentMonitor product freshness and rotate stock to ensure qualityFollow dress code and grooming standards that reflect the upscale environmentWork closely with other departments to support cross-functional needs and smooth operationsWork in multiple food prep areas as neededSupport training of new team members as neededWill complete all duties and requests as assigned by managementThis is a full-time position working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 6:00 am and 9:00 pm.
Skills/RequirementsMust be at least 16 years old or older and have ability to obtain ServSafe certificationPrevious food production or service experience preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsKnowledge and passion of food and food preparationAbility to read and follow a recipeAbility to operate slicers, scales, and other equipment safelyAbility to use POS systems and comfortable with cash handlingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of timeFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

- $19.85. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
