About the Role
The Learning Experience #475 in Madison, AL is looking for a passionate and driven Centre Director to lead our early childhood education center. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners while building and inspiring a dedicated team of educators. Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment
Recruit, hire, train, and mentor teaching staff and support personnel
Monitor and maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and accreditation standards
Build strong relationships with families through open communication and exceptional customer service
Manage center budget, enrollment goals, and financial performance
Implement and support The Learning Experience curriculum and educational programs
Conduct staff performance evaluations and foster ongoing professional development
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
2+ years of experience in a childcare center leadership or director role
Knowledge of Alabama childcare licensing requirements and regulations
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Proven ability to manage enrollment, budgets, and center operations
Genuine passion for early childhood education and child development
