Description of Task to be Performed:We are seeking a motivated Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our growing technical team supporting the development of a digital evidence management system. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL, and be eager to contribute to building scalable, data-driven applications that support critical business and mission objectives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and APIs, UIs, data management services and analytical tools.
This position supports 80% remote work with one day per week in Chantilly, VA or Woodbridge VA.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement capabilities to support the intake, analysis, processing, management, and visualization of digital evidenceDevelop custom software components, data processing pipelines, and analytical modules to extend or enhance digital evidence handling capabilities.
Ensure integrations and developments improve digital evidence data management, analytical efficiency, automation, and exploitation performance.
Provide technical documentation, configuration support, and knowledge transfer to maintain system interoperability, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with product and data teams to align data solutions with mission requirements, use cases, and end-user experience goals.
Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.
Assist in implementing DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Contribute to containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of professional experience in software engineering roles.
Proficiency in Java, JavaScript and SQLProficiency in Java Spring and ReactJSSolid understanding of relational database design and experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.
Experience with shell scripting such as BashProven ability to analyze and work with structured and unstructured data.
Strong technical and computational skills, with the ability to relate data to business or mission objectives and user needs.
Experience with DevOps tools and workflows, particularly using GitLab.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Containerd, Kubernetes, etc.).
Top Secret clearance or High Risk Public Trust SuitabilityPreferred

Qualifications:
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools such as Terraform and AnsibleExperience with Observability concepts and tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki and TempoExposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Nutanix.
Experience designing or supporting multi-tenant architectures.
Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems such as Keycloak.
Experience with data query, visualization, and search tools such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Metabase, or Trino.$50,391.49
