Store Manager-In-Training (MIT)The Store Manager-In-Training (MIT) will be immersed in learning all aspects of managing a National Coatings and Supplies/Single Source Inc. Store as well as the sales functions of the organization. Training will take place through on-the-job experiences while learning under the guidance of their Store Manager, District Operations Manager, District Sales Manager, and other partners. You will support the store by building loyalty and long-lasting relationships with our customers.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with hiring, orienting, training, supervising, evaluating, motivating, communicating with, leading and disciplining all employees in storeEnsure planning, direction, and scheduling of employee work in order to optimize labor utilization and align with workflow and profitabilityMaintain inventory control and direct the taking of inventory in order to optimize cash flow for the organizationEnforce and follow all rules, policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance with State and Federal Laws, DOT and OSHA RegulationsMonitor customer pricing for strict control of gross-profit marginsPerform administrative duties as necessaryMaintain relationships with key customers including site visitsEngage with functional Corporate departmentsOther duties as assignedQualifications & Education RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Business Management, sales or related field requiredFamiliar with and competent knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Office, Excel, Word)Team player with exceptional customer service skillsGood verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsMust maintain a clean driving recordStrong work ethicStrong organizational, time management, and problem solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and follow-throughWhat's in it for You?Monday thru Friday schedule No nights/no weekendsMedical, dental, & vision benefits401k retirement savings planLife & disability insuranceDirect deposit & biweekly payrollAbility to start a career instead of just another jobCollaborative environment where your input is valued dailyAdditional notes: Must be willing to relocate within the region upon completion of training.
