This role will allow you to connect with seniors on a personal level and make a positive impact on their day-to-day health and well-being.

Responsibilities:
Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homesEstablish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their familiesHelp seniors with daily tasks such as light housekeeping and organizationAccompany seniors to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visitsOrganize transportation, ambulation and transfersEncourage activity and movementInspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments and hobbiesMaintain a trusting and comforting environment in the homeDesired Caregiver applicants will meet the following
requirements:
One year of caregiving experience (preferred but not required)Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, and reliable vehicleMinimum high school diploma or GED requiredOpen availability strongly preferredSubmit to Pre-Employment Drug ScreeningAs a Caregiver with Comfort Keepers, the leading provider of quality in-home care for seniors, you will transform day-to-day care giving into opportunities for meaningful relationships and memories.
Position Physical Demands:The work requires moderate to physical exertion on a regular and recurring basis, such as driving, assisting clients in transfer activities and ambulation, and light housekeeping. Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear, reach, kneel, crouch. Lifting only up to 25 pounds is permitted and may be required.
