Tenet South Carolina is seeking a Radiology Technologist Manager for a job in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Job Description
& Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Staff Primary responsibility for assessing, planning, directing, implementing and evaluating all activities including patient care in assigned department on a 24-hour basis. The Manager is responsible for providing counseling and disciplinary action in concert with the VP, Human Resources and the Director of Imaging Services. Responsibilities include development and maintenance of an ongoing Performance Improvement program. The Manager communicates and collaborates with other departmental staff for problem identification and resolution. Through the Manager, activities are coordinated with other departments. Maintains professional knowledge and skills related to specific area of responsibility. Develops and manages the annual department operating and capital budgets Directs daily operations of assigned departments Directs performance of staff and assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and disciplines the employees according to the general personnel policies of the hospital Identifies, studies, and assists in resolving problems relating to the department Performs related duties as required. Required:
Education:
Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school with a Bachelor’s degree or working towards a Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
3-5 years technical experience 1-2 years management experience Licensure/Certification: Must be ARRT registered. American Heart Association CPR certification required.
