Key ResponsibilitiesYour role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will encompass various responsibilities that are crucial for supporting our clients:
- Conduct virtual individual mental health counseling sessions using secure video conferencing tools.
- Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide your client interactions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that articulate measurable goals and address each client’s unique circumstances.
- Guide clients in understanding their emotions, experiences, and relationship dynamics to foster personal insight and growth.
- Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure ongoing improvements and efficacy.
- Educate clients on healthy coping mechanisms to empower them in their healing journey.
In this role, you will primarily serve stable, low acuity adults dealing with a spectrum of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Our focus is on helping these individuals develop the skills necessary to enhance their quality of life and achieve their personal goals.
QualificationsThe following qualifications are required for this role:
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.
- You must hold one of the following fully licensed designations: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- No provisional or limited licenses are accepted; candidates must have a clean disciplinary record.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client interactions are crucial for this role.
- Competence with digital platforms and strong computer literacy will help you thrive in a remote environment.
While the above qualifications are mandatory, we also value prior experience in remote counseling or teletherapy, particularly through established electronic health record systems. Familiarity with treatment algorithms and methodologies that promote client engagement and treatment adherence will set you apart as an ideal candidate.
Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation package for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 per year, depending on your experience and working hours. In addition to competitive pay, we offer an attractive benefits package, including:
