Dispatcher
Help keep a residential community connected and supported. Allstate Security is hiring a Dispatcher in San Diego to coordinate communications, support the security team, and provide courteous service to residents and callers. Bring your organization, clear communication, and calm approach to a role where accurate information makes a difference.
Pay and Schedule
- Pay: $22.88 per hour.
- Full-time swing shift: Friday through Tuesday, 2:00 p.m.10:00 p.m. (14002200).
- 40 scheduled hours per week; Wednesday and Thursday off.
- On-site assignment supporting a residential community in San Diego.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond professionally to residents, employees, and other callers.
- Relay service requests and relevant information to security personnel and supervisors.
- Maintain accurate call logs, dispatch records, daily activity reports, and data entries.
- Prioritize communications, follow site procedures, and promptly escalate urgent concerns.
- Monitor and respond to work emails, messages, and voicemails.
- Support shift handoffs and coordinate staffing or coverage updates as directed.
Operational Expectations
- Remain calm, organized, and attentive while managing multiple calls and requests.
- Handle resident and company information confidentially.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, coworkers, and management.
- Report on time and be available for the posted FridayTuesday schedule.
Qualifications
- Previous dispatch or call center experience and comfort handling a high volume of calls.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and accurate data entry.
- Ability to multitask, maintain detailed records, and read and write clear reports in English.
- Security industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to complete the required background screening.
