Work EnvironmentAs a remote counselor, you will join a collaborative team that operates within a community health clinic framework, focusing on outpatient counseling. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and detailed evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for clients.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to best meet individual client needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic care and enhance client outcomes.
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards within the counseling domain.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training to stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health research and practice.
Our client base primarily consists of individuals, couples, families, and groups seeking mental health support for various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will focus on establishing rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds, adapting your therapeutic approach to suit their unique circumstances.
Qualifications- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in a range of therapeutic modalities and an understanding of ethical considerations in counseling practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Competency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems or similar documentation platforms.
- Specialization in areas such as trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
- Experience working in community health settings or outpatient environments.
- Familiarity with co-occurring disorders and integrated care models.
- An annual salary range of $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
