Our Client in New Kensington, PA is seeking a passionate and skilled Wire EDM Operator to join our team
Pay: $20 - $30/hr
Hours: Mon - Fri 6AM- 6PM
Responsibilities:
* Work from blueprints, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) files
* Set up and operate Electrical Discharge Machines as necessary for the manufacturing of specific tooling components.
* Perform routine maintenance on wire EDM machines for daily operation.
* Must be able to perform basic wire-EDM functions including removing slugs from work pieces.
* Ability to run multiple wire-EDM machines as needed.
* Measure, examine and test, as required, to ensure the completed components for conformance to specifications and free of defects.
* Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers, comparators, dial indicators, gauge blocks, and load test equipment.
Requirements:
* Completion of high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Five years working experience in similar work environment.
* Blueprint reading, metalworking, drafting classes.
* Ability to use common tools.
* Possess strong mathematical skills.
