The Kitchen Utility Worker plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe and organized dining environment. This position supports kitchen and dining operations by ensuring proper sanitation, equipment care and food storage standards are consistently upheld. What You’ll Do: Set up and maintain dishwashing and pot washing areas Operate dish machines and ensure proper sanitation procedures Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils and glassware Complete and maintain temperature, sanitation and equipment logs Clean kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, mixers and refrigerators Perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal and sanitizing surfaces Assist with food prep and plating as needed Support proper storage, labeling and rotation of food and supplies (FIFO) Maintain safe storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies Assist in dining room cleaning, table resetting and light meal service when assigned Follow all OSHA, food safety and Sunrise safety standards Kitchen Utility Worker — Help Keep Our Kitchen Clean, Safe and Running Smoothly Kitchen Utility Worker | Dishwasher | Kitchen Support | Food Service | Sanitation | Dining Services Pay Range: 15.21 – 19.01 We also offer benefits and other compensation that include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Plans Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistant Program / Discount Program Paid time off (PTO), sick time, and holiday pay myFlexPay offered to get paid within hours of a shift Tuition Reimbursement In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses.
