What you'll do
A day in the life of our Steward…it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Stewards accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know. Our Stewards are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dishes, flatware, pots and pans and prep areas during their day. This will include scraping food from dirty dishes, washing them by hand and/or placing them in racks or in conveyor to dishwashing machine. Washes pots, pans, kitchen tools and trays, sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, banquet service areas and hallways to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience. Sometimes our guests have special requests involving kosher dishes, specific preparation and set-up of items and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Stewards. Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up.
