Senior Software Engineer

Old Mission is a global proprietary trading firm that leverages state-of-the-art technology and research to identify and execute profitable trading strategies across multiple asset classes around the world. We are actively hiring a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for building reliable systems at scale. You will bring proven expertise in Python and C++ to a distributed system that supports global trading across the entire firm. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related Engineering/Science discipline A minimum of 5 years of professional Python and C++ experience in a production setting Strong Linux knowledge (e.g. performance tuning, networking) Comfortable working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL,MySQL, etc.) FIX experience (e.g. execution management, market data, drop copy) A collaborative team player with a knack for owning and driving exciting projects Fully paid Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance ~ Fully stocked kitchen; free breakfast and lunch every day on-site ~ Tuition Reimbursement Program ~Commuter and Flexible Spending Programs ~ In office M-F with 10 remote days per year Our compensation package also includes a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits program for full-time employees.
