Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (Board Eligibility required within 5 years of residency completion) Full-time schedule consists of twelve 12-hour shifts per month (144 hours monthly) Potsdam ER: ~ Shift Times: ~36 hours of physician coverage and 22 hours of APP coverage daily ~ APP Coverage Includes: ~Physicians average approximately 1.32 patients per hour Trauma III Trauma Center Massena ER: ~24 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of APP coverage ~ APP shift: ~Physicians average 1.34 patients per hour Significantly less busy nights Critical access hospital Gouverneur ER: ~Physicians average 1.18 patients per hour ~ Generally lower acuity with significantly less busy nights Critical access hospital EMR: Epic
